Route 66 ... the Mother Road

I began photographing Route 66 through the Southwest in 1990, and quickly fell in love with this highway that John Steinbeck called "The Mother Road."  Its quirky motels, cafes and tourist traps provide an endless supply of inspiration.  Click on any thumbnail photo below to display a larger image.
